Skills
- Professional full stack development experience (front-end + back-end)
- Experience building single-page web applications
- Proficiency with one or more object-oriented languages (Python, C#.NET, Go, Java, Scala)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, testing, and deployment workflows
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Linux/UNIX tooling and infrastructure automation (Terraform/Ansible/Puppet)
- Experience with streaming/in-stream data systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
- Database experience (PostgreSQL, SQL Server or similar)
- Front-end framework experience (React, Angular or similar)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain highly reliable full-stack applications used across SpaceX
- Create prototypes to validate designs and quantify technical constraints
- Own features end-to-end including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders to deeply understand user problems and deliver efficient solutions
- Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance profiling to improve system reliability and throughput
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or scientific discipline OR 2+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
