Skills
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Revu/Bluebeam
- Experience producing architectural construction documents (plans, elevations, sections, details)
- Ability to convert and integrate vendor and legacy file formats into Revit/AutoCAD
- Knowledge of permit acquisition and closeout processes
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R, concrete, framing, and industrial gas systems
- Familiarity with building and safety codes (NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, IBC)
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify preliminary equipment layouts and architectural plans based on stakeholder input
- Produce construction documents and bid-ready packages for contractors
- Create as-built drawings and update campus maps post-construction
- Integrate third-party vendor drawings into existing drawing sets
- Convert files from Teamcenter, SketchUp, Revu/Bluebeam, PDF and similar formats into Revit and AutoCAD
- Perform feasibility assessments for architectural, fire/life safety, structural, and MEP impacts
- Provide preconstruction services including preliminary budgets and schedules
- Coordinate with external design consultants, internal construction/facilities teams, and city permit authorities
Education
- High school diploma or equivalency (required)
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or related engineering discipline (preferred)
