Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.
We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.
We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.
If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About This Role
As the Manager of Controls Deployment, you will lead a team of engineers whose primary mission is to deploy Crusoe's high-density and robust EPMS and BMS infrastructure primarily focused in the US region. This role is fundamental to Crusoe’s mission: by executing on this critical piece of the Crusoe infrastructure, you directly enable our larger vertical integration strategy. Doing this at scale and at speed is exactly what differentiates Crusoe in the market.
This position demands a strategic technical authority who can bridge the gap between initial design and final commissioning. You won't just be managing systems; you will be defining and enforcing the standards that govern our rapid, multi-region footprint. You will operate in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and adherence to uniform deployment processes are vital. This is a Full-Time position.
What You’ll Be Working On
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and empower a fast-paced team of engineers deploying critical infrastructure across various regions and construction sites.
Infrastructure Deployment: Direct the execution and successful rollout of high-density EPMS and BMS platforms, optimizing for speed without sacrificing quality.
Standardization Strategy: Enforce a strong respect for engineering standards, ensuring strict adherence to the uniform deployment processes required for building at scale.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with controls design and commissioning teams to collectively deliver a premium solution to the hyperscale market.
Process Optimization: Build and refine deployment workflows to streamline controls deployment, eliminate bottlenecks, and scale our delivery capabilities.
Project Oversight: Monitor timelines, resources, and technical roadblocks across multiple concurrent site builds to guarantee on-time delivery of critical controls infrastructure.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Experience Benchmark: Bring >10 years of relevant professional experience in engineering, construction, or technical deployment.
People Management: Demonstrate proven leadership and people management experience, with a track record of guiding fast-paced technical teams.
Domain Mastery: Possess deep, fundamental expertise in EPMS and BMS infrastructure and a comprehensive understanding of how to successfully deploy these systems.
Scale Mindset: Exhibit a strong understanding of why adherence to standardized, uniform deployment processes is absolutely mandatory for building industrial infrastructure at scale.
Collaboration Capabilities: Show a proven ability to work cross-functionally with design, commissioning, and operational teams to achieve unified project goals.
Mandatory Education: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Bonus Points
Hyperscale Experience: Bring prior experience delivering direct infrastructure solutions specifically to the hyperscale data center market.
Advanced Academic Credentials: Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
Industry Certifications: Possess relevant professional certifications in project management or specific industrial control platforms (preferably Ignition / Rockwell).
Sustainability Alignment: Show a passion for leveraging advanced control systems to meet Crusoe's energy efficiency and sustainability goals.
