The Distributor Partner Manager (DPM) is a crucial, value-adding partner who ensures alignment and focus to drive execution across Red Bull North America’s (RBNA) distribution network. The DPM contributes by leading year-round business planning, driving in-market execution, and ensuring the rollout of regional and national key account programs, while bringing RBNA’s marketing strategy to life within the distributor network. This is a field-based role, working directly within the distributor community to support RBNA’s mission of operating the best distribution network in North America.
YEAR ROUND BUSINESS Planning
Lead the annual Business Planning (BP) process with Distributor Partners (DPs) to ensure alignment with RBNA business planning priorities.
Manage the annual volume plan and allocate independent trade funds and Point of Sale (POS) resources.
Conduct 30/60/90-day monthly and quarterly planning reviews to achieve quantitative targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Actively and regularly participate in DP sales meetings, and conduct weekly market visits to assess in-store conditions and develop action plans to address opportunities.
MARKET EXECUTION
Full accountability for DP performance, including both sales volume and in-store execution (e.g., operational excellence, outperforming competitors, achieving volume targets, etc.).
SELLING & INFLUENCE
Analyze market and distributor performance data (e.g., IRI data, MPR dashboards, consumer insights) to generate insights that support in-market tactics.
Develop the DP network by implementing RBNA’s distributor selling model (Power Platform, PIITCHER, Skill Pills, etc.).
Manage all Point of Sale (POS) orders to ensure timely delivery of in-store assets.
Maintain volume, pricing, and promotional information in the Customer Profitability Management (CPM) system for assigned DPs.
Allocate and manage the tactical budget for initiatives and incentives that maximize return on investment (ROI).
Manage the independent trade program (VIP) and collaborate with local distributor-managed key accounts (Tier II).
KEY ACCOUNT EXECUTION
Effectively prioritize and implement regional and national Key Account (KA) programs by securing additional resources (e.g., trade funds, point-of-sale materials) as needed to support local market opportunities.
Ensure a strong focus on volume growth and in-store execution within the distributor’s top Key Accounts.
Communicate regularly with Key Account Managers to ensure that KA priorities are executed at both regional and national chain levels.
ACTIVATE MARKETING RESOURCES (SALES & MARKETING ALIGNMENT)
Bring RBNA’s marketing mix to life by engaging the DP sales force and leveraging all available assets (e.g., local and regional events).
Execute the rollout of RBNA brand initiatives and tentpole programs.
Deliver brand and key account solutions to address issues at the market level.
Ensure the DP fully understands and consistently executes Red Bull’s in-store brand standards and merchandising guidelines (e.g., planograms, POS, pricing).
5+ years of demonstrated success in the consumer packaged goods industry, with a strong preference for beverage experience.
Prior experience working in a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) distribution environment is strongly preferred.
Ability to teach, develop, and coach others to sell effectively in the off-premise channel.
Proven ability to influence distributor decision-makers and key stakeholders.
Experience working in a fast-paced, complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to analyze and leverage data to translate insights into actionable plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Fluency in English required; additional language skills are an advantage.
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $92,000 - 138,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
