About the Role
The Clinical Applications Portfolio Leader serves as the strategic bridge between clinical operations, IT, and finance, ensuring our clinical applications are optimized, adopted, and aligned with organizational goals. This role focuses heavily on the operational use of WellSky within our Home Care environment, with an emphasis on workflow efficiency, practice management, and operational performance.
What You’ll Do
Evaluate and enhance the functionality and utilization of clinical applications.
Customize tools to meet Home Care needs or implement best‑practice standards where underutilized.
Drive improvements that elevate patient care and operational efficiency.
Workflow Analysis & Enhancement
Assess and refine workflows to reduce documentation time and streamline processes.
Improve ordering, signing, and patient lifecycle milestones through better application use.
Training & Support
Develop and deliver training programs for agency staff.
Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and identify trends to create targeted education and self‑service resources.
Performance Monitoring
Establish and track KPIs related to application usage, workflow efficiency, adoption, and indirect staffing costs.
Build improvement plans and maintain performance once targets are achieved.
Financial Impact Analysis
Partner with Portfolio Leadership and agency Executive Directors to measure financial gains from operational improvements.
Review application and interface utilization, recommend changes, and collaborate on contract renegotiations when needed.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships across clinical operations, IT, and finance.
Ensure applications meet stakeholder needs and support organizational success.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Stay current on emerging clinical software, vendor enhancements, and new technologies.
Recommend and implement innovative solutions that drive efficiency and financial performance.
What You Bring
3+ years of WellSky training, implementation, project management, or user experience.
3+ years in practice management, billing management, or Home Care operations.
Experience with eClinicalWorks, Epic, PointClickCare, HCHB, or clinical interfaces is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to travel 25% to supported locations.
