Senior Sales Engineer, Cognigy

NiCE (NICE Ltd.) is a global leader in AI-first CX and customer service automation, delivering scalable Conversational and Generative AI via the Cognigy platform. We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to partner with Enterprise Sales and Presales teams to lead discovery, craft technical solutions, run demos and POCs, and translate business needs into measurable customer outcomes across omnichannel contact center environments.

Skills

  • Strong JavaScript programming and scripting skills for rapid prototyping and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with conversational AI, chatbots, virtual agents or low-code automation platforms.
  • Deep familiarity with CCaaS landscape, contact center architectures and omnichannel engagement.
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS architecture, RESTful APIs and integrations.
  • Working knowledge of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, DOM) and browser developer tools.
  • Ability to craft compelling technical narratives, presentations and demos tied to business metrics.
  • Experience designing and executing POV/POC engagements for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Own technical discovery and deep-dive sessions to identify customer pain points and solution fit across AI-driven virtual agents, knowledge management, analytics, routing and digital engagement.
  • Design and deliver tailored, high-impact demos and presentations that demonstrate business outcomes and exceptional customer experience.
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs with clear, differentiated technical responses and solution architectures.
  • Design, execute and validate proof-of-value (POV) engagements to demonstrate measurable ROI and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Document and communicate integration patterns, APIs and architecture decisions for enterprise SaaS deployments.
  • Track competitive landscape, market trends, and emerging technologies to inform positioning and product differentiation.
  • Upskill internal stakeholders and provide technical mentorship across sales, support and product teams.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field preferred.
  • MBA or advanced business degree is a plus but not required; equivalent experience accepted.
