Macmillan Learning is seeking a Remote Salesforce Development Intern for a 12-week program to improve Salesforce efficiency and maintainability through coding and optimization tasks.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include code analysis, refactoring legacy code, testing, system performance monitoring, and documentation for improved Salesforce functionality.
Skills: Required skills include basic knowledge of Apex and SOQL, problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and collaborative teamwork.
Qualifications: Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science or Software Engineering, graduating by Spring 2026, or recent graduates within the last 6 months are acceptable.
Location: Remote, with eligibility excluding Alaska, Arkansas, California, Washington DC, Hawaii, Illinois, Mississippi, Nevada, South Dakota, Washington State, West Virginia, Wyoming.
Compensation: $16 - $16 / Hourly

What will you be doing and learning?
The Salesforce Developer Intern will play a crucial role in improving the efficiency and maintainability of our Salesforce environment by analyzing, optimizing and cleaning up obsolete code. This internship provides hands-on experience in Salesforce development, Apex programming and system performance optimization. The intern will collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Administrators, Business Analysts and QA teams to identify technical debt, refactor legacy code and enhance system functionality.
