Skills
- Proven experience with Okta and identity/access management (IAM) solutions
- Strong understanding of SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocols
- Production experience building Node.js/TypeScript services
- Cloud service development and security-minded design
- Experience with agile development and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain access management solutions including SSO and multifactor authentication
- Integrate applications with Okta and implement SAML and OpenID Connect flows
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers and influence engineering culture and best practices
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to plan, estimate, and deliver features
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and lifecycle efficiency
- Stay current with identity and access management trends and evaluate opportunities to apply new technologies
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
- Equivalent practical experience in software engineering and IAM solutions considered
