Technical Product Manager- Workers Compensation
Skills
- Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows
- Product management experience in technology-driven environments with agile delivery
- Experience conducting discovery, prototyping, and data-driven validation
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with commercial insurance workflows and workers compensation (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Discover, define, and deliver technology functionality to run workers compensation from quote-to-bind through policy servicing.
- Lead integration efforts between ISCx and the Policy Administration System to ensure accurate policy issuance and seamless data flow.
- Configure ISC's Program Builder for carriers, products, question sets, and underwriting rules without engineering changes when possible.
- Define and implement cross-sell strategies between workers comp and other products (GL, BOP) to grow premium and broker value.
- Optimize the end-to-end broker experience for submissions, quoting, binding, and policy delivery.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, and data teams to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and excellent UX.
- Collaborate with underwriting, carrier management, and operations to translate business needs into platform capabilities.
- Lead discovery, rapid prototyping, and iterative validation using customer research and data.
- Manage stakeholders and communicate progress, risks, and decisions through governance forums such as SteerCo.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)
- Equivalent experience in product or technical roles will be considered
