Skills
- Full-stack development across backend services, databases, and React frontends
- Proficiency in Java, Ruby, or TypeScript
- Experience with microservices architectures and cloud deployments (AWS)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and production operations
- Basic familiarity or experience working with AI/ML APIs and integrating models into workflows
- Design and architecture knowledge, object-oriented analysis and design patterns
- Strong debugging, performance, and security-minded engineering practices
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain services in a microservices architecture that power rate visibility and autonomous booking
- Own feature lifecycle end-to-end: DB schema design, scalable backend APIs, and React-based frontend components
- Integrate AI models and automated workflows into the booking and pricing experience
- Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to translate business problems into production-ready solutions
- Participate in code reviews, mentor peers, and maintain high code quality
- Build highly available, secure, distributed systems that scale with global volume
- Ship incrementally with strong CI/CD practices and operate services with monitoring and post-mortem learnings
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
