Edison Scientific builds and commercializes AI agents for science. Scientific discovery moves too slowly, and autonomous AI agents are how we intend to fix that. We’re assembling a team of top researchers and engineers across AI and biology to build an AI scientist.
We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our Platform team and own the execution engine behind our products. You’ll ensure that features move from concept to delivery—managing tickets, triaging bugs, driving roadmap execution, and keeping engineering teams unblocked and on track.
You’ll work directly with our engineering leads and sub-teams to turn a backlog of product feedback into delivered features. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role—ideal for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, energized by momentum, and motivated by shipping fast.
This role is on-site at our San Francisco office in the Dogpatch neighborhood. Our office is a converted warehouse with high ceilings, open space, and a team that genuinely believes in what they’re building.
Own day-to-day project management across engineering sub-teams: ticket management, sprint planning, triaging incoming requests, and tracking dependencies
Drive features from backlog to shipped product, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
Synthesize product feedback into a clear, prioritized execution plan and keep the team focused on what matters most
Run standups, manage timelines, and hold teams accountable to delivery milestones
Serve as the connective tissue between engineering sub-teams, improving cross-team communication and coordination
Identify and remove blockers proactively—escalate when needed, solve directly when possible
Collaborate closely with engineering leads to shape how work gets planned and executed
5+ years of relevant experience in technical product management, technical program management, or a similar execution-focused role
Understanding of how products are built at an architectural level
Proven track record of building products in a fast-paced environment
Strong project management fundamentals: you have your own methodologies and they actually work
Comfortable with high-level technical concepts including general software architecture and database fundamentals
Excellent communication skills with a knack for managing up and across engineering teams
Familiarity with generative AI tools and the current AI landscape
1+ years of experience in a software engineering role
Experience in biotech, pharma, or scientific software (helpful but not required)
Experience setting up or improving product development processes from scratch
