- Hands-on Tier 1/Tier 2 help desk and IT operations experience
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub and SaaS tool administration
- macOS, Windows, and/or Linux administration experience
- Experience with Google Admin Console or similar directory/identity management tools
- Experience provisioning and managing MDM solutions
- Basic understanding of SIEM, logging, and incident triage
- Ability to work asynchronously and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Clear communication and ability to follow through on remediation
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support; triage, resolve, or escalate issues
- Provision and configure user laptops and administer company-wide MDM
- Manage physical and digital IT asset inventory
- Onboard and offboard users via Google Admin Console and related identity tools
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to deploy and troubleshoot SaaS tools
- Assist with Third Party Risk Management reviews, security research, and audit report reviews
- Support implementation and operationalization of security controls (logging, SIEM, incident response, config management) aligned with NIST SP 800-171
- Triage security events, perform log audits, and assist incident response processes
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and adapt to evolving organizational needs; travel 5-10% as required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field preferred but not required
- Relevant certifications or training (help desk, security, or cloud) are beneficial
