Partner Sales Engineer - US

Chainguard delivers hardened, secure, production-ready builds of open source software to help organizations ship software faster and with less risk. We’re hiring a Partner Solutions Engineer to scale our partner ecosystem by enabling technical champions, designing integrations, and driving partner-led adoption across cloud providers, VARs/SIs, and platform partners.

Skills

  • 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Partner Solutions Architecture, or Sales Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Practical experience with containers and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps, platform engineering, or cloud security
  • Experience building partner enablement programs and technical training
  • Strong technical communication for both engineers and business stakeholders
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Enable partner technical teams via workshops, hands-on labs, training programs, and reusable enablement assets (reference architectures, demos, playbooks).
  • Design and validate secure cloud-native architectures that integrate Chainguard into DevOps, platform engineering, and security workflows.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to build and ship partner integrations and technical solutions.
  • Co-create partner-led services and offerings; support Sales and Partner Managers to identify opportunities and accelerate deals.
  • Engage with partner technical leaders and executives to align roadmaps and technical strategies.
  • Run ongoing enablement sessions and maintain cadence to keep partners engaged and capable of delivering Chainguard value.
  • Represent partner needs internally to influence product direction and roadmap.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent practical experience
  • Continuing technical training or relevant certifications (optional)
