The Sales Executive – National CPG Team, will be responsible for penetrating HQ brand teams and driving a budget shift towards Vestcom Media Solutions (VMS) products and services. This individual will be a results-oriented sales executive with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through consultative selling into top tier CPG’s and media agencies. The ideal candidate would bring deep domain experience with the ability to position the benefits of Vestcom to CPG marketers, finance, COE and omnichannel teams across all levels of seniority. This role requires a hunting mentality across assigned accounts, with focus on revenue growth and net-new customer/brand acquisition. Successful candidates will also bring strategic vision, creativity, initiative, analytical skills to root cause and address business needs.
Areas of Responsibility:
Own the sales process from end to end. This includes developing account plans to generate pipeline, securing contracts from brands and transitioning campaigns to execution teams
Penetrate and develop high level customer relationships with senior leadership
Develop strategies to position VMS media solutions to align with brand needs and bundle VMS products to maximize deal size, duration and close rate
Deliver the business expectations, which includes carrying an individual quota >$10M
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting utilizing existing CRM tool
Management of 1 Account Manager and collaboration with cross-functionals to support the sales process & deployment of campaigns
Hunter mentality. Success in this role requires penetrating whitespace at scale to 1) identify brand budget holders and 2) secure meetings with these individuals to sell our solution.
Understands mid and low-funnel media or sales conversion tactics, having experience purchasing or selling similar CPG solutions
Extensive prospecting expertise and ability to scale yourself as a resource. Must be comfortable being measured against activity metrics and pipeline, in addition to revenue
Minimum 6+ years industry experience in CPG marketing/sales organizations with knowledge of Brand, Retail, Shopper Marketing and Retail Media landscape.
Proven track record of achieving >100% on an individual quota of $6M+
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field. Master’s degree a plus

The salary range for this position is $102,925 - $140,000 year.
