Workato Integration Developer
Skills
- 3–6+ years of integration development or automation experience
- Hands-on experience with Workato or similar iPaaS (Boomi, MuleSoft, Zapier)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML
- Familiarity with event-driven and API-led integration patterns
- Experience building automation across SaaS platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Slack, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Basic scripting or logic experience (JavaScript, Python, or similar within recipes)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop integrations (recipes) using Workato
- Build end-to-end workflows connecting CRM, ERP, HRIS, marketing, and collaboration platforms
- Configure triggers, actions, conditional logic, and error handling for automations
- Integrate systems via REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and file-based transfers
- Implement data transformation, mapping, enrichment, and validation within workflows
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations for performance and reliability
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into automation solutions
- Ensure security, governance, and scalability best practices are followed
- Document integration processes, workflows, and reusable components
- Support business development and proposal/solution design as needed
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Workato Automation Pro Certification or equivalent experience preferred
