Systems Security Engineer (Program Protection)
Skills
- Experience in Anti-Tamper, Systems Security Engineering, or embedded security on DoD programs
- Proven ability to author program protection and Anti-Tamper documentation and execute the Anti-Tamper process
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity, Software Assurance, and Supply Chain Risk Management
- Hands-on technical understanding of embedded systems, hardware security, and reverse engineering risks
- Ability to brief and engage technically with government customers and program stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication and collaborative teamwork skills
- Currently holds and can maintain an active U.S. Secret clearance with Top Secret eligibility
Responsibilities
- Identify Critical Program Information (CPI) across air, land, maritime, and space systems
- Design and implement Anti-Tamper mitigations to deter, detect, delay, and respond to reverse engineering
- Develop Anti-Tamper and Program Protection plans in coordination with government stakeholders
- Integrate Systems Security Engineering processes across product design, integration, production, and sustainment
- Derive, decompose, and flow down system security requirements and architectures
- Consult with software, RF, electrical, and mechanical teams to influence secure architecture and implementations
- Prioritize mission-based security risks and convert threat analysis into engineering decisions
- Develop and execute system security tests, demonstrations, assessments, and customer-led events
- Document trade studies, designs, analyses, and security posture artifacts to support milestone deliveries (SRR, SVR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a relevant discipline preferred
