Responsibilities
- Design and analyze vehicle platform systems; generate design reviews, requirements analysis, and verification plans
- Integrate subsystems (sensors, navigation, propulsion, comms, autonomy, power) into complete surface platforms
- Develop and track requirements, validation plans, integration/test procedures, and success criteria for new features
- Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans for development, integration, verification and acceptance testing
- Serve as technical lead for troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of surface platforms during field tests
- Maintain test documentation, configuration/version control, and quality assurance practices for platform systems
- Support development and execution of test & evaluation programs compliant with applicable Government standards
- Collect and analyze test metrics and produce detailed test reports
- Collaborate with customers and external partners on payload integration and program technical support
- Support proposals with technical content and participate in program-level stakeholder activities
- Travel for test planning and execution (approximately 30% with potential surges)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field preferred
- Relevant equivalent experience considered in lieu of formal degree
