Senior Electrical Engineer, Manufacturing Test (Active Clearance)
Skills
- Professional EDA experience (Altium, Cadence, PADS) for schematic capture and layout
- Strong PCBA design and DFM/DFT knowledge; experience taking designs to manufacture
- Hands-on with lab test equipment: scopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, DAQ, electronic loads
- Experience with low-speed and high-speed interfaces and signal characterization
- Familiarity with PLM/PDM processes and production release workflows
- Ability to prototype, debug, and iterate quickly in a cross-functional team
Responsibilities
- Design circuits and schematics for test automation platforms and fixtures
- Develop and source PCB assemblies (FPGA, MCU, breakout boards, peripheral modules) and wiring harnesses
- Integrate test designs into PDM/PLM workflows and release designs for production
- Architect and integrate board-level test fixtures with internal and off‑the‑shelf DAQ equipment
- Bring up, debug, and characterize circuits and interfaces (I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, RF, memory)
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to enable BSPs, embedded Linux, and MCU RTOS bring-up
- Improve automation, throughput, test UIs, and data analytics for manufacturing test
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering or related field (required)
- Master’s degree in EE or related field (preferred)
