Accounts Receivable Specialist
Skills
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and CRM (Salesforce) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with AR processes: billing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations
- Understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Support timely and accurate invoice generation and review order details for completeness
- Process credit memos and billing corrections as needed
- Apply customer payments accurately and timely in ERP systems
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate unapplied cash or discrepancies
- Assist with collections follow-ups and maintain collection notes
- Support month-end AR close activities and reconciliations
- Prepare and provide documentation for audits and internal control reviews
- Collaborate with Sales, Order Management, and other Finance teams to resolve billing/payment issues
Education
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Or equivalent accounting/finance work experience
