Onsite IT Engineer - Vero Beach
Skills
- 5+ years in advanced helpdesk or onsite engineer roles with demonstrated troubleshooting skills
- Healthcare IT experience supporting EMR/EHR systems and familiarity with HIPAA requirements
- Experience with ConnectWise or similar PSA/RMM tools for ticketing and documentation
- Strong Windows desktop & server administration, Active Directory, and Office 365 management
- Network fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN troubleshooting and basic firewall support
- Ability to perform onsite physical tasks (lifting up to 60+ lbs, climbing ladders, extended standing)
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt end-user support and resolve incidents within SLA using ConnectWise (calls, chat, email).
- Lead and participate in infrastructure improvement projects and server/workstation deployments.
- Administer and troubleshoot Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and enterprise desktop environments.
- Perform network and security troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, VPN) and assist with firewall configuration.
- Support Windows and virtual server environments, Active Directory, and advanced file permission tasks.
- Serve as SME for assigned client, mentor junior technicians, and escalate complex issues with complete documentation.
- Deliver end-user training and executive-level IT support; coordinate with vendors for specialized issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ticket updates, and proactive incident reporting to Service Delivery Manager.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Cisco) preferred
- Associates degree or technical training in IT is a plus
