Every week, 150,000+ meetings run through Circleback, and the teams using us tell other teams. We’ve grown to profitability almost entirely through word of mouth. Now we need someone to build the marketing engine that turns that organic love into a category-defining brand.

About Circleback

We’re building the best AI meeting notes product on the market. Transcription, summaries, action items, search, and automations. Works across Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack, and in-person. YC W24. We just passed $6M ARR. Our founders built LLM products at Stripe and predictive analytics at Tableau before starting Circleback.

What you’ll do

  • Make Circleback the name people think of when they think “AI meeting notes.” You’ll execute on our content strategy, help refine our voice, and build the publishing engine: blog, SEO, and distribution. The foundation exists. The consistency and scale don’t.

  • Own our channels end to end. Social media (LinkedIn, Twitter), email marketing (newsletters, drip campaigns), community presence (Reddit, relevant communities), and paid ads. You’re not just creating content. You’re getting it in front of the right people through every channel that works.

  • Create the ads, then test them. You write the copy, design the images, cut the video. You don’t wait for someone to hand you creative. You make it, run it, read the data, and iterate. If an ad isn’t working, you’ve already got three new versions ready to test.

  • Ship content that our CEO doesn’t want to rewrite. Our team have strong opinions about tone and quality. You’ll use AI to produce at volume, but the bar is high. Your job is to make AI-generated drafts sound like Circleback, not like ChatGPT.

  • Run the full loop: strategy → creation → distribution → measurement. You’ll use AI tools aggressively to operate at a pace that would normally require a small team, then spend your human hours on the parts that actually need a human.

  • Turn customer insights into content that resonates. Thousands of teams use us daily. You’ll mine those patterns for stories and angles that work because they’re real, not because they’re optimized.

  • Experiment relentlessly. The best growth ideas at this stage won’t come from a playbook. You’ll run scrappy experiments: creative partnerships, viral product moments, unconventional channels, guerrilla campaigns, community stunts. Some won’t work. The ones that do will define how we grow. We want someone who’s always testing new ideas and isn’t afraid to try things that feel weird or unscalable if the upside is big enough.

What makes someone great at this

  • You’re a great editor, of both humans and AI. You can take a mediocre AI draft and turn it into something sharp, specific, and on-brand in 20 minutes. You have taste, and you can articulate why something doesn’t work.

  • You think in distribution, not just creation. You’ve gotten content in front of real audiences before: SEO, social, email, community, partnerships, or channels you discovered yourself. You know that a great post nobody reads is a failure.

  • You’ve built something from zero. Maybe a blog, a newsletter, a social presence, a marketing function. You’ve operated without playbooks and made it work.

  • You take direct feedback well and move fast. Working closely with a founder who cares deeply about voice means fast iteration cycles and strong opinions. You find that energizing, not exhausting.

  • You’re AI-fluent. You already use AI tools daily in your work. You’re not threatened by AI. You’re leveraged by it.

Compensation & logistics

  • Salary: $120K–$155K (based on experience)

  • Equity: Meaningful. Circleback is profitable and growing. Equity here isn’t a lottery ticket.

  • Location: San Francisco (in-person)

  • Benefits: Unlimited PTO, catered lunches, equipment provided
