Skills
- Strong Python and TypeScript programming skills
- Experience shipping production AI systems, LLMs, or AI agents

- Experience with data pipelines for large, unstructured conversational datasets
- Strong SQL and data systems fundamentals
- Familiarity with observability, evaluation, and reliability practices
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own AI-powered product and platform capabilities across Spiral and AXO from prototype to production.
- Implement AI workflows, agent capabilities, and backend services that are scalable, secure, and reliable.
- Develop high-performance APIs, async workers, and application logic in Python and TypeScript.
- Ship user-facing product features and internal tools that make advanced AI systems useful and intuitive.
- Architect and improve data ingestion, parsing, and analysis pipelines for conversational customer data.
- Partner with engineering, product, and design to translate ambiguous concepts into robust systems.
- Operate and improve infrastructure on AWS/GCP focusing on reproducibility, observability, security, and cost.
- Improve system quality through evals, monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational best practices; mentor teammates.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree or advanced study in AI/ML or related field is a plus but not required
