Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Sports and Lifestyle Sponsorships Team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Marketing Communications Sponsorships Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to be a key part of our Sponsorship Marketing team working on our various projects and activations. Accomplishing these goals will require working with internal stakeholders along with key business partners to build activation plans to support the overall sponsorship strategic vision.
Reporting to the Sports Sponsorships Manager, the person in this role will support the department’s objectives by supporting and executing fully integrated activation plans for the department as well as supporting the measurement and KPI setting to ensure robust ROI.
What you’ll be doing
Collaborate with team members and business partners to manage projects, while ensuring KPIs, deadlines, and budgets are met.
Represent Toyota and support Toyota's business and marketing objectives through communication and collaboration with key media, agency, and/or business partners.
Support the creation of presentations for TMNA executives, regional teams, dealers, and business partner audiences.
Manage day-to-day operations, including all aspects of creativity, planning, and execution for assigned sponsorships.
Analyze data and metrics, as well as best practices from class-leading consumer activations, to identify areas of opportunity and promote continuous improvement within assigned sponsorships.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience
1+ years of experience in a project management support role
Prior working knowledge with Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
Prior experience presenting to various audiences
Prior experience working with various agreements, contracts, and budgets
Thorough understanding of Marketing Analytics to help make data driven decisions
Must be willing and able to travel up to 30%, including overnight and on weekends
Added bonus if you have
2+ years of experience in sponsorship marketing, consumer insights, digital experiences, corporate planning, advertising, sales or collegiate internships
MBA or advanced business degree
Prior experience in automotive or automotive related industry
Automotive or high-tech marketing and product launch experience
Prior experience in sales or related functions
Relevant experience applying prominent marketing strategy models for a large global brand
Experience in an environment where capable of both high-level strategic responsibilities and tactical tasks such as report creation and data analysis
Experience in developing social media and media plans
