- Leadership and multi-shift supervision in an industrial/manufacturing setting
- Ability to develop standard work and training programs
- Familiarity reading schematics, drawings, and controlled documentation
- Experience with Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods
- Proficient with MS Office and shop floor/ERP systems
- Physical ability for industrial environment: lifting, standing, confined space work
- ITAR-eligible or able to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multi-shift team of technicians, including performance management and coaching
- Supervise shop floor activity, daily schedules, and workflow to meet production goals
- Organize, assign, and track work and deliverables across shifts
- Prioritize work based on production schedule and organizational objectives
- Support transition of equipment from engineering development to full-rate production
- Develop standard work instructions, preventive maintenance schedules, and training programs
- Provide data and reporting to support department metrics and continuous improvement
- Maintain tooling and consumable inventories and minimize production interruptions
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure process quality, conformance to specifications, and maintain safety/auditing practices
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field OR
- 5+ years professional experience in water/wastewater treatment plant operations in lieu of degree
