Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-fidelity real-time simulation software used across SpaceX vehicles
- Implement and prototype simulation models for fluids, electronics, and multi-body physics
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate simulation features and improve user workflows
- Improve reliability, performance, and test coverage of simulation systems
- Debug, profile, and optimize simulation code for real-time constraints
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related STEM discipline OR 2+ years professional software development experience
- Strong foundation in calculus, linear algebra, and classical mechanics
