Responsibilities
- Perform static, thermal, dynamic, and fatigue analyses for Raptor chamber and nozzle components using FEA and first-principles methods
- Document and present analysis methods, assumptions, and results to design and test teams
- Define requirements and capabilities for engine/stage interfaces across flight phases
- Collaborate with component design, hardware, and test teams to anchor models and drive design improvements
- Validate FEA predictions with hand calculations and practical, hands-on checks
- Deliver analysis on schedule and incorporate feedback throughout design cycles
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline (required)
