Responsibilities
- Design factory layouts and manufacturing processes for rapid, reliable, low-cost production of RF vacuum hardware (TWTA).
- Develop and document novel manufacturing procedures in collaboration with partner teams.
- Manage new product introduction and establish production processes for TWTA assemblies.
- Work with manufacturers and suppliers to implement process improvements that increase reliability and throughput.
- Provide design-for-manufacturing feedback to design teams to reduce cost and improve reliability.
- Perform environmental and performance testing to validate designs and demonstrate compliance to requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues, lead root-cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Take end-to-end ownership of product outcomes through development and production phases.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (required)
- Advanced degree in engineering or materials science (preferred)
