- Familiarity with U.S. export control regimes (EAR and ITAR)
- Experience preparing and managing export license submissions
- Technical data review and jurisdiction/classification analysis capability
- Risk assessment and compliance auditing experience
- Experience with compliance process operationalization and automation
- Comfort working with AI/automation tools and designing agentic workflows
- Strong legal research and written/verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Draft, submit, and manage export licenses and license exceptions under the EAR and ITAR
- Conduct technical data reviews and classification/jurisdiction determinations
- Perform compliance risk assessments and audits and develop remedial measures
- Design and implement compliance process improvements and automation, including generative AI tools
- Advise and educate internal stakeholders (engineers and business teams) on export controls and policy
- Research and interpret U.S. export statutes, regulations, directives, and guidance

- Bachelor's degree (required)
