Skills
- Strong Python programming and production software engineering skills
- Proficient SQL for data exploration and feature validation
- Experience with Spark and processing ML at scale
- Solid grounding in ML theory, statistical evaluation, and supervised/unsupervised methods
- Experience taking models from prototype to high-scale production
- Experience with model monitoring, feature engineering, and experimentation frameworks
- Clear technical communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Attention to detail and outcome-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade ML models for fraud detection and related systems
- Develop and maintain model training, evaluation, and experimentation pipelines
- Prototype and integrate new ML techniques and infrastructure to improve detection accuracy and scalability
- Implement robust model monitoring, testing, and documentation practices
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Risk teams to translate business needs into ML solutions
- Drive technical best practices and mentor peers to raise team standards
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field (required)
- Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field (preferred)
