AI and Data Team Manager
Skills
- 5+ years in Data Science, ML Engineering, or Data Engineering with 2+ years in technical leadership
- Deep experience with LLM architectures, RAG, and prompt engineering
- Strong MLOps and model deployment experience
- Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Batch, Glue, Bedrock, Step Functions, Redshift)
- Proven ability to design and govern secure, large-scale data architectures for multi-tenant environments
- Experience integrating generative AI with internal APIs and sensitive datasets
- Excellent communication and mentorship skills
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical roadmap for AI/ML and data systems, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a small high-performing team of data scientists and ML engineers.
- Design, develop, and operationalize scalable data pipelines and model training workflows.
- Oversee model development, tuning, deployment, and MLOps for production ML systems.
- Integrate generative AI (e.g., AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic) securely with internal APIs and sensitive datasets.
- Architect and govern high-performance data infrastructures for multi-tenant, regulated environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security research, product, and platform teams to deliver data-driven automation and intelligence.
- Establish CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and continuous improvement practices for ML systems.
- Design high-availability APIs to enable interactions between LLM agents and internal systems.
Education
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related quantitative field
- Equivalent industry experience considered
