- Field and construction engineering experience with hands-on construction management and site supervision.
- Project management skills: scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor oversight.
- Experience producing and managing design documentation and construction drawings; RFP and bid management.
- Proficiency working with 3D models and CAD tools (NX, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Knowledge of architectural, structural, civil, and MEPF design and construction practices.
- Experience with permitting, land use controls, conditional use permits, and local government coordination.
- Understanding of QA/QC, safety standards, and construction best practices.
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills for internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead development, design, engineering, and construction of Terran R test infrastructure and facilities at Stennis Space Center.
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams to define architectural, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and industrial requirements.
- Serve as owner’s representative with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies; manage permitting and local agency coordination.
- Manage construction documentation, RFPs, bidding, subcontractor selection, oversight, and on-site construction management.
- Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, QA/QC, safety plans, and construction reporting.
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Test Operations, and Vehicle teams to align project designs with operational and test requirements.
- Support commissioning, testing, and operational readiness activities; travel up to 25% to Relativity sites as needed.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Eligibility to clear a U.S. government background check for on-site work at Stennis Space Center.
