- Deep Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration
- Experience with configuration management (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, SaltStack)
- Hands-on data center hardware installation and troubleshooting
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Virtualization experience (VMware, KVM, or similar)
- Networking fundamentals, storage systems, and backup solutions
- Monitoring and performance tuning
- Leadership and mentoring experience
- Familiarity with containerization, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Linux environments with primary focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools
- Manage physical and virtual servers across data center environments
- Lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation
- Mentor junior administrators and provide technical guidance
- Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting in data center facilities
- Implement security best practices, patch management, and compliance
- Monitor system performance, perform capacity planning, and optimize systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure initiatives
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
