Skills
- 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in consumer electronics shipped at scale.
- Proven high-density, multi-radio design experience (BLE, WiFi, cellular, GNSS).
- Strong proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Deep EE fundamentals and practical mixed-signal/analog knowledge.
- Experience with schematic validation, DFMEA/PFMEA, tolerance and stress analysis.
- Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, data loggers, soldering).
- Strong written and verbal communication and documentation habits.
- Experience designing for size-, power-, and integration-constrained products.
Responsibilities
- Design high-density PCBs integrating BLE, WiFi, cellular, GNSS and sensors for ultra-compact consumer devices.
- Validate schematics, select components, and resolve vendor technical questions and spec issues.
- Perform DFMEA, PFMEA, tolerance and stress analyses to ensure robust designs.
- Lead board bring-up, debug, iterative refinements, and support EVT/DVT/PVT cycles.
- Build mockups, proofs-of-concept, and drive parallel prototyping to de-risk designs.
- Design programming jigs, test fixtures, dev boards, and interface helper hardware.
- Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, industrial design, and manufacturing partners on integration and DFM/DFA.
- Document designs, share technical findings, and present tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field (required).
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
