- End-to-end understanding of radar transmit/receive chains, detection theory, and signal processing fundamentals.
- Strong Python skills for data analysis, algorithm development, and visualization.
- Knowledge of phased array fundamentals, beamforming, and RF hardware.
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize complex radar algorithms and workflows.
- Experience working with I/Q data, FFTs, pulse compression, and coherent integration.
Responsibilities
- Develop, model, simulate, and validate radar signal-processing algorithms (matched filters, detection, parameter estimation).
- Analyze I/Q and intermediate radar data in time and frequency domains and produce clear diagnostics and visualizations.
- Troubleshoot and optimize signal-processing workflows (pulse compression, FFT, coherent integration, clutter/interference mitigation).
- Implement tools for radar control, data acquisition, processing, and visualization; prototype workflows in Python.
- Support operational deployment, calibration, and validation of radar systems (timing, range, Doppler, amplitude, phase).
- Monitor radar performance, diagnose RF/array issues, and iterate on algorithm and system improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, operations, and software teams to transition prototypes into production.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related technical field.
- Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience in radar systems, signal processing, or closely related domain.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
