About Klarity
Klarity (YC S18) is the Enterprise Instinct platform. TL;DR: Series B, $91M raised, 7x growth last year.
Enterprises still rely on consultants to figure out how they operate – months of work, millions spent, and outdated before the ink dries. We built a better way.
Our AI discovers how work actually happens across every team and application, Structures it into a living Context Graph, and Improves it continuously.
ServiceNow mapped 900+ processes in 9 days. DoorDash captured 3,800+ finance operations in 14 weeks, replacing a 2-year engagement. That's not a project. That's compounding intelligence.
OpenAI, Google, DoorDash, and Stripe use Klarity to transform how they transform. We shipped GPT-4 document chat within 12 hours of OpenAI's API launch.
Speed and quality aren't a tradeoff here – they're the standard.
Experience: 1-2 years of shipping production code (or exceptional new grads with strong portfolios)
Location: San Francisco / Bay Area (Relocation assistance available)
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for an AI Front-end Engineer who wants to learn at the intersection of product design and frontend engineering. You care deeply about craft and have strong frontend fundamentals, but you're early in your career and hungry to grow. You'll work directly with senior engineers and designers to build AI-native workflows that make complex enterprise tools feel intuitive.
Note: We do not require a CS or Engineering degree. We care about your portfolio, side projects, and your hunger to learn and ship.
Strong frontend fundamentals with design sensibility - You're comfortable with React and have built real projects. You understand the basics of component architecture and care about how things look and feel. You're excited to learn the nuances of performance optimization and advanced patterns.
Familiar with modern web technologies - You've worked with React, TypeScript, and CSS frameworks like Tailwind. You may not have mastered them yet, but you're eager to learn best practices and write cleaner code every day.
AI-curious and eager to experiment - You've tried tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or v0.dev and see their potential to accelerate your work. You're excited to learn how to use AI tools effectively to prototype faster and focus on solving hard problems.
Hungry to ship quickly and learn from feedback - You care about getting features in front of users and iterating based on what you learn. You're willing to make tradeoffs and understand that done is often better than perfect when you're learning.
Detail-oriented and quality-conscious - You notice when things feel off—animations that are janky, layouts that shift, or colors that don't quite work. You want to build things that feel good to use, even if you're still learning how to achieve that consistently.
Collaborative and coachable - You ask good questions, take feedback well, and are excited to learn from people with more experience. You're comfortable saying "I don't know" and then figuring it out.
Energized by hard problems - You see challenging UI problems as opportunities to grow. You bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude even when things are ambiguous or difficult.
Ship real features used by Fortune 500 customers - Build production UI components, integrate with backend APIs, and contribute to features that ship to real users. You'll get code reviews and mentorship from senior engineers.
Learn to build scalable front-end systems - Work within existing component libraries and patterns, contributing new components and learning best practices for state management, API integration, and performance optimization.
Collaborate across design and engineering - Work with designers to implement their vision and with backend engineers to understand what's possible. You'll learn how to balance technical constraints with user experience goals.
Grow your craft rapidly - You'll work directly with senior engineers on real problems, getting hands-on experience with AI-powered workflows, enterprise-scale applications, and modern frontend architecture. A small team means your growth happens fast.
