Senior AI Operations Engineer
Skills
- 5+ years in IT Systems Engineering, DevOps, or AI/ML operations roles.
- Hands-on experience with AI workflow orchestration tools (e.g., LangChain, Airflow, Prefect).
- Proficiency in Python and building API integrations and automation scripts for systems management.
- Experience managing LLM-based or ML-powered applications in production environments.
- Familiarity with Okta, Atlassian, and enterprise SaaS automation platforms (BetterCloud, Torq, Zapier for Enterprise).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD best practices.
- Experience building secure, auditable automations aligned with compliance and governance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage AI infrastructure, pipelines, and workflows for IT and internal operations.
- Develop, monitor, and optimize models and pipelines used for support automation, knowledge retrieval, and internal tools.
- Integrate AI and automation into enterprise SaaS systems (Okta, Slack, Atlassian, etc.) and maintain secure connectors.
- Partner with IT Systems, Data Engineering, and Security to enforce governance, compliance, and ethical AI practices.
- Define and maintain SOPs for monitoring, retraining, incident response, and model/version control.
- Assess automation opportunities using LLMs, RPA, and AI service APIs and implement production-ready solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor on AI operations practices and adoption across the organization.
- Contribute to internal documentation, training materials, and governance frameworks for AI systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent professional experience in place of formal degree considered
