The Role
As the Director of Product Engineering, you will manage a team of engineers and managers who are responsible for Doxel’s customer-facing application. You will be a technical leader, setting the vision for the full-stack architecture. You will partner closely with product managers, designers, operations, and customer success to design and deliver new functionality at scale. You will organize and grow your team in order to meet the needs of the business. And you will help team members progress on their individual career paths.

- Creating a technical roadmap and resource plan
- Growing the team with a high hiring bar, and onboarding new team members
- Growing people through formal and informal feedback and career growth plans
- Building a strong team culture
- Contributing to business strategy with an engineering perspective
- Implementing processes and technologies that optimize velocity, including AI tools
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field
- 5+ years of managing managers experience
- 10+ years of engineering leadership, including building large-scale customer-facing products
- Technical depth in service-oriented architecture, web client frameworks, data pipelines, and AI/ML
- Experience building products using AI/ML
- Experience with 3D rendering - especially in a web client
- Domain experience/knowledge in construction
- Experience building software in an operations-focused business
