Senior/Principal Product Manager - Durable Objects
Skills
- Proven product management experience shipping developer-facing products
- Strong technical fluency with modern software development practices
- Experience with transactional databases or storage systems (SQL/NoSQL)
- Hands-on familiarity with developer tools, CLIs, and editor-based workflows
- Ability to run qualitative and quantitative user research and BI analysis
- Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
- Practical programming experience (JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, Go, or SQL)
- Customer-facing skills for developer outreach and adoption efforts
Responsibilities
- Define strategy and roadmap for Durable Objects, prioritizing developer needs and business impact
- Own projects end-to-end from ideation through launch and ongoing maintenance
- Collaborate tightly with engineering to scope, deliver, and iterate on features
- Engage directly with developers and communities to gather feedback and validate direction
- Coordinate with Product Marketing, Developer Relations, Sales, and Support to drive adoption
- Use BI and market research to identify investment opportunities and measure outcomes
- Ruthlessly prioritize across diverse customers, stakeholders, and technical constraints
- Represent the product externally to customers, prospects, and at community channels
Education
- BS in a technology field (required) — MS preferred
- Or equivalent practical experience in product or engineering roles
