The Senior Director of Infrastructure Portfolio Management will evaluate existing policies, programs, and procedures and make recommendations to improve the department's data processing capabilities, emergency and non-emergency communication networks, and overall operational systems.
Responsibilities will include:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and manage multi-year IT roadmaps, align portfolio to business goals, and oversee prioritization.
- Financial Management: Manage IT budgets, track spending, and report on financials.
- Stakeholder & Team Leadership: Influence IT leaders, act as business relationship manager, and lead/mentor junior managers.
- Performance & Risk: Own portfolio performance, status, capacity, and risk mitigation.
- Process Improvement: Mature portfolio management processes and methodologies (Agile/Non-Agile)
- Manage special projects and initiatives assigned.
HOURS/SHIFT
Day - Due to the necessary technical management duties of this position in a 24/7 operation, candidate may be on call and/or work various shifts such as weekends and/or nights/evenings.
