Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise technology solutions across on-prem, cloud, applications, security, and collaboration platforms.
- Serve as Tier 3/4 SME providing root-cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting for complex incidents.
- Lead technical deployments, upgrades, integrations, migrations, and tenant consolidations with minimal operational disruption.
- Develop and enforce technical standards, configuration baselines, and Microsoft 365 governance frameworks.
- Contribute to system architecture, technology roadmaps, and lifecycle planning aligned with security and compliance requirements.
- Implement security controls, support vulnerability remediation, incident response, and audit readiness (SSPs, POA&Ms, evidence collection).
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory and CUI protection requirements (e.g., NIST SP 800-53/171, FedRAMP, CJIS, HIPAA as applicable).
- Partner with stakeholders and vendors to translate requirements into technical designs and present recommendations to non-technical audiences.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and mentor junior engineers to improve operational maturity.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Relevant industry certifications preferred (Microsoft, AWS, VMware, Security+, CISSP)
- Experience working in regulated or government-related environments is preferred
