At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology.

Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Product Engineer to drive the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and manage customer engagements for our groundbreaking agentic AI product suite. In this role, you will act as the critical nexus between our cutting-edge technology and our customers' most pressing business needs. You are highly technical—capable of deeply understanding AI-driven chip design and verification flows—yet highly business-savvy, with a talent for positioning complex products in the market. You will collaborate closely with Research & Development (R&D) and Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to orchestrate successful product evaluations, secure technical wins, and accelerate widespread adoption of our AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities * Own and manage end-to-end customer engagements, acting as the primary GTM driver for our agentic AI and LLM-driven EDA products.

  • Serve as the strategic bridge between customers, Field Application Engineers (FAEs), and R&D, ensuring that technical evaluations are executed flawlessly and feedback is operationalized.
  • Blend deep technical knowledge of semiconductor design with strong business acumen to articulate product value propositions, ROI, and competitive differentiation to engineering leaders and executives.
  • Engage directly with early adopters and key customers to understand their specific design workflows, translating their requirements into actionable roadmaps for the R&D team.
  • Develop high-impact technical collateral, product presentations, and deployment playbooks to empower the sales and FAE teams in the field.
  • Maintain current knowledge of advancements in AI-powered hardware design, EDA trends, and market dynamics to actively participate in shaping the product's strategic direction.

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field with a minimum of 4 years of experience OR MS with a minimum of 2 years of experience (an MBA or equivalent business experience is a strong plus).
  • Proven expertise in a Product Engineering, Technical Marketing, or Field Application Engineering (FAE) role within the semiconductor or Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industry.
  • Solid technical foundation in ASIC design flows, hardware verification (Verilog, SystemVerilog), and an understanding of modern ML/LLM technologies.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing complex technical customer engagements and successfully executing Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the unique ability to translate dense, highly technical concepts into compelling business value.
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and driving projects forward in a fast-paced environment.

The Cadence Advantage

  • The opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in an environment that encourages you to be creative, innovative, and to make an impact.
  • Cadence’s employee-friendly policies focus on the physical and mental well-being of employees, career development, providing opportunities for learning, and celebrating success in recognition of specific needs of the employees.
  • The unique “One Cadence – One Team” culture promotes collaboration within and across teams to ensure customer success.
  • Multiple avenues of learning and development available for employees to explore as per their specific requirement and interests.
  • You get to work with a diverse team of passionate, dedicated, and talented individuals who go above and beyond for our customers, our communities, and each other—every day.
