IT Lead

Authentic provides the technology platform and compliance support that enables insurance brokers to build custom insurance products. We are looking for an experienced IT Lead to own the company IT stack and compliance across our Dayton and New York offices, deliver responsive end-user support, manage office technology, and partner cross-functionally to scale secure and reliable employee tooling.

Skills

  • Hands-on macOS and Windows troubleshooting
  • Google Workspace administration
  • Slack administration
  • Okta and identity/access management (SSO, SAML, provisioning)
  • MDM experience (Jamf preferred)
  • Networking and WiFi troubleshooting
  • AV and conferencing systems (Zoom Rooms, etc.)
  • Hardware lifecycle and inventory management
  • IT compliance and security best practices
  • Documentation and self-service creation
  • Basic scripting/automation (Python, Bash) preferred
  • Strong communication and service orientation

Responsibilities

  • Own IT stack and compliance for the Dayton and New York offices
  • Serve as primary IT contact for employees with in-person support in Dayton and remote support for New York
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across macOS, Windows, SaaS apps, identity/access systems, and networking
  • Manage and enforce IT compliance policies, security standards, and access controls
  • Own employee technology lifecycle: onboarding setup through secure offboarding
  • Manage and maintain office technology: WiFi, conference rooms, AV equipment, and vendor relationships
  • Administer core tools including Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, and MDM solutions
  • Handle hardware procurement, inventory, and secure retirement
  • Build documentation and self-service resources to scale support
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual work
  • Partner with Engineering, People, and Security teams on IT initiatives
  • Coordinate with local contacts in New York to resolve on-site issues as needed

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Relevant certifications (Okta, Jamf, CompTIA) are a plus
  • Equivalent hands-on IT support experience accepted in lieu of degree
