- BS/MS/PhD in related engineering or scientific field
- 5+ years experience in ground support equipment or complex systems engineering
- Strong fundamental understanding of aviation GSE and related systems (refueling, cooling, hydraulics, power management)
- Experience with industry-standard tools, methods, and certification processes
- Systematic problem-solving and ability to communicate complex technical rationale to multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication; experience producing technical reports and documentation
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and lead technical efforts
Responsibilities
- Own design, certification, use, testing and operational definitions for all ground support equipment required for the Hybrid Powertrain (electric and liquid refueling, cooling, maintenance, repair, hydraulics, exhaust, power management).
- Lead systems engineering for GSE operations, repair, maintenance, and reliability across the Hybrid Powertrain.
- Manage GSE design lifecycle and handoffs, coordinating with manufacturing, operations, and test teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and certification artifacts; present designs and technical rationale to stakeholders.
- Drive technical initiatives independently and coordinate cross-functional activities to support aircraft integration and operations.
Education
- BS, MS, or PhD in engineering or a related scientific field
- Relevant technical coursework or practical experience in systems engineering, fluids/hydraulics, or propulsion-related systems
