Software Engineer, DevOps, Discovery

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company building AI-native command-and-control and autonomy systems. The Discovery team incubates and matures high-potential software-defined offerings across autonomy, networking, hardware, and space. They are seeking a hands-on DevOps Software Engineer who is primarily a coder with strong CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and MLOps experience to build scalable deployment pipelines, maintain production stability, and work directly with cross-functional teams and customers.

Skills

Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance (must be able to maintain)
3+ years of software development experience with languages such as Python, C++, Java, Rust, Go, or JavaScript
Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, CircleCI, FluxCD, JFrog Artifactory, Git
Proficiency with IaC: Terraform and Ansible
Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, and/or GCP
Containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with model management tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, or equivalent
Monitoring and logging experience: ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Vector, Loki
Ability to read and navigate complex codebases and systems quickly
Customer-focused mindset with pragmatic engineering tradeoffs

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, FluxCD, JFrog) for software and ML models
Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible across cloud providers
Containerize applications and manage orchestration with Kubernetes
Set up and operate model registries and deployment pipelines (MLflow, Kubeflow) for batch and real-time inference
Implement monitoring, logging, and observability (ELK, Prometheus, Vector, Loki, Grafana)
Collaborate with software, data science, operations, hardware, and test teams to integrate systems end-to-end
Ensure production stability, scalability, and security best practices for deployments
Work directly with customers to deploy, troubleshoot, and iterate on systems in the field

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience
Strong engineering foundation from industry experience or academic training
