Responsibilities
- Design, integrate, and maintain mission autonomy interfaces between mission system, vehicle autonomy, and payload management systems.
- Analyze ConOps, DRMs, and mission flows to develop mission behavior concepts and define inputs/outputs.
- Own build packages and configuration for mission autonomy software across MCS, OCS, and PDK instantiations.
- Deliver PDK to payload teams and co-lead payload integration and checkout on each ship type.
- Support integration, checkout, debugging, and at-sea validation (V&V) of mission autonomy.
- Develop and maintain HITL infrastructure and manage simulation scenarios and datasets (ASV MissionSim).
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional systems.
- Plan system verification, conduct design reviews, and ensure reliability in intended operational environments.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent (required)
