Senior Product Quality Engineer, Ghost
Skills
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality for aerospace/defense or similar hardware
- Working knowledge of precision mechanical parts, PCBA, harnessing, avionics, composites, propulsion, and lethality systems
- Familiarity with FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements (MSA), and GD&T
- Experience developing and optimizing test & measurement systems and transitioning engineering qualification to production testing
- Proficiency with statistical analysis and data tools (e.g., MATLAB, JMP, Minitab)
Responsibilities
- Define and execute product quality plans, inspections, acceptance tests, and end-of-line metrics for Ghost and accessories
- Drive resolution of quality ambiguities tied to product maturity, process stability, and field performance
- Coordinate and own Government Source Inspections (GSI), GMIPs, and DCMA process evaluations through delivery and DD250
- Support MRO disposition, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for customer-owned hardware
- Champion transition from NPI to predictable, sustainable manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Lead RCCA, MRB activities, and continuous improvement efforts; evaluate effectiveness and share lessons learned
- Establish product health metrics, perform data analysis, and improve the Quality Management System and documentation
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar technical field (required)
- Master's degree in a technical field (preferred)
