Security Operations Manager
Skills
- 10+ years of professional experience with 2+ years in management consulting, operations, finance, or product/program management.
- Active Top Secret security clearance (required).
- Strong emotional intelligence and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse audiences, including executives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple large projects (5+) in parallel and deliver under tight timelines.
- Experience with budgeting, variance tracking, and financial reporting.
- Data-driven problem solving with the ability to translate analysis into people-centric solutions.
- Experience developing policies, SOPs, and security training programs.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite at Costa Mesa HQ and travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations and quick-turn operational issues for Industrial & Special Programs security.
- Lead strategic projects to redesign and implement security processes and standard operating procedures.
- Forecast and manage the organization's budget, track variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee security trend reporting and drive root cause analysis and mitigations.
- Develop and review internal security policies and SOPs, and provide recommendations to process owners.
- Coordinate with Security Education & Training to develop and deliver training and awareness materials.
- Build and maintain collaborative partnerships across internal stakeholders and with Anduril counterparts.
- Provide people management: guidance, training, and support to a team of security professionals.
- Engage with executives and stakeholders regularly and report on project and operational progress.
- Travel as needed to support organizational objectives and initiatives.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Security Management, Finance, or related field (preferred, not strictly required).
- Relevant security or operations certifications are a plus.
