Skills
- Proven production supervision and people management experience
- Strong understanding of production rates, critical path, and manufacturing fundamentals
- Knowledge of NPI through scaled production and change management (ECOs)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills
- Experience with NetSuite and JIRA or similar production systems
- Familiarity with 5S, Lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to safety and quality processes
Responsibilities
- Manage technician staff to produce, test, and deliver Anduril products through acceptance testing and delivery
- Set daily priorities, issue and complete work orders, and clear blockers to meet production goals
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and drive safety improvements
- Prioritize operator activities to achieve on-time delivery targets
- Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
- Complete daily transactions in production systems (NetSuite, JIRA) and maintain accurate inventory
- Provide weekly production progress reports, call out blockers, risks, and needs
- Lead daily cross-functional communication with engineering, supply chain, logistics, and quality
- Support hands-on line work and operator training as needed
- Coach, mentor, and manage up to 30 production associates per shift
- Execute and maintain standardized work instructions and control plans
- Support root cause investigations and corrective action tracking
- Generate daily pass downs and quality reports for engineering and operations
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or applied science preferred
