- Statistical analysis, metrics generation, and data mining
- Ability to obtain and hold U.S. TS/SCI security clearance
- Willingness to travel up to 10% to supplier locations
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design teams to provide manufacturability feedback and product data for precision mechanical parts.
- Apply expertise across machining, molding, additive manufacturing, fabrication, and metrology to manage supplier technical risk.
- Partner with supply chain to ensure predictable supply and supplier performance for cost, quality, and delivery.
- Drive supplier quality through review, validation, and qualification of precision components and mechanical sub-assemblies.
- Direct supplier qualification activities (audits, FAIR, PPAP) to meet program and product requirements.
- Manage supplier corrective actions (SCARs), champion continuous improvement, and share lessons learned across programs.
- Define and track KPIs, using data to guide supplier readiness and quality strategies across sites.
- Grow and mentor the SQE Precision Mechanical team; recruit, hire, and onboard new SQEs.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field (required)
- Master’s degree in a technical field (preferred)
