Responsibilities
- Support full-lifecycle development of satellite systems: requirements definition, system design, integration, testing, and operational planning
- Translate mission objectives into structured system-level requirements and ensure proper flow-down to subsystems
- Perform system architecture trades, high-level design evaluations, and MBSE analyses
- Develop verification plans, traceability matrices, and test documentation to validate system performance
- Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to manage interfaces, resolve technical issues, and guide design decisions
- Lead or support integration activities across spacecraft bus, payload, avionics, launch preparation, and mission operations
- Contribute to long-term product roadmap, design reuse, cost targets, and process optimization
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline required
- Master’s degree in a STEM discipline preferred
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required; ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
